The attack at Wakefield Prison comes less than two weeks after a report into the facility was published that found violence there had “increased markedly”.

The report from the chief inspector of prisons said: “Many prisoners told us they felt unsafe, particularly older men convicted of sexual offences who increasingly shared the prison with a growing cohort of younger prisoners.”

“Feel unsafe” do they? So they fucking well should; and they should “feel unsafe” for the rest of their worthless existences, in or out (should be permanently ‘in’) jail.

In my own humble opinion, the lag what shivved the animal ought to be given time off his sentence for saving the taxpayer the cost of keeping the filthy ratbastard alive.

Unless, of course, the attacker’s a nonce himself – In which case he should either be sent to israel to live amongst fellow (escaped) wrong uns, or be made to “feel unsafe” (if you catch me drift) himself, in a uk jail.
