It is crucial that the left is represented at Labour Conference to make the case for transformative policies: from public ownership of key utilities to a tax on extreme wealth. Last year Conference voted for motions to suspend all arms sales to Israel and for a genuine end to Tory austerity. This just shows how important it is for socialists and progressive to represent their CLPs.
This year’s Conference is scheduled to take place in Liverpool from Sunday 27 to Wednesday 30 September.
