Green Party surge in popularity

New polling has shown the Green Party are a hair’s breadth away from Labour:

This is happening as the Greens hit 150,000 members for the first time:

The Green Party are growing

On 16 October, we reported that the Greens had drawn level with Labour in a poll from Find Out Now:

While this was heartening to see, it was just one poll, and the Greens were more than ten points behind in the poll average:

They were also five percentage points behind Labour with YouGov – the same pollster who puts them at one point behind now:

The Greens have also raced forwards with a third pollster this week too:

At this point, it’s getting harder and harder to deny that we’re seeing a Green surge. This is especially true given that they just hit 150,000 members:

It’s looks like Polanski is having what you could call the β€˜reverse Starmer effect’ – i.e. the longer he’s leader, the more the public warm to him and his policies. As such, it’s no wonder Labour insiders may be plotting to bring down their own prime minister.
