Shurat HaDin founder sets out outrageous claims

Shurat HaDin, an Israeli advocacy group whose founder has admitted that it works closely with Mossad and other intelligence services, has warned – some would say threatened – a ‘wave of terror attacks’ targeting European Jews.

Worryingly, the group has a history of ‘false flag’ incidents faking supposed ‘Islamist’ violence. Shurat HaDin is a ‘Kahanist’ group – aligned with the fascist and terrorist ideology of Meir Kahane. The group’s founder has now claimed that there will be a ‘wave of antisemitic terrorism’ in Europe – a claim that observers such as Electronic Intifada’s Asa Winstanley consider to be a threat:

Winstanley reported in 2017 that:

An Israeli group which claims to be a “civil rights” organization has admitted to being a front for Mossad, Israel’s deadly spy agency.

Shurat HaDin’s intimate links with Mossad were first exposed in 2013, when a US embassy cable was published by WikiLeaks.

In that classified 2007 document, the group’s director Nitsana Darshan-Leitner told US embassy staff that the group “took direction” from Israeli spy agencies, including Mossad.

Shurat HaDin and Israeli history

Israel has a long history of proven ‘false flag’ attacks in which it commits atrocities and blames them on other groups it wishes to target. Last month, Skwawkbox covered fears raised by regional experts – including a former Israeli negotiator – that the colonial regime was about to launch a campaign of such misdirections to try to recover popularity and public support it has lost because of its genocide in Gaza and unprovoked attacks on its other neighbours.

Israel has a long, proven history of such false-flags to try to achieve political and strategic aims, from the ‘Lavon affair‘ of the 1950 in which it bombed Jewish buildings in Egypt and tried to blame it on Muslim groups, to its air attack on the USS Liberty in 1967 to try to provoke the US into attacking Egypt, to the 1994 bombings in London blamed on Palestinian activists.
